Since its inception in 1992, the IVC Educational Foundation has
raised over $250,000 in donations from businesses and individuals in
the community. Although a portion of the proceeds has been invested
in an endowment fund for the future, over $100,000 has been given to
the school district to help provide enrichment and educational
opportunities for District 321 students. The Foundation has funded
over $60,000 in teacher grants, $40,000 in technology for district
schools and $5,000 to the Fine Arts.
The Foundation is currently in the final year of a three-year
project to develop technology centers at CEC and Mossville Schools.
The technology centers include stations on weather, music, video
production and desktop publishing/computer assisted drafting.
The
Foundation meets the first Friday of each month at the School
District Unit Office at 7:00 a.m.
